Civic Footprint

The Civic Footprint concept refers to each citizen’s unique ability to contribute time and money to help develop stronger communities across Canada. Just as we have all become aware of our need to minimize our environmental footprint, both individually and collectively, the goal of the Civic Footprint program is to maximize community impact by encouraging Canadians to take a strategic, long term approach to giving, volunteering and participating.

When it comes to your finances, investment advisors provide options, tools and best practices for managing your money. We are bringing that same approach to managing your philanthropy.

Imagine if you could have one place to keep track of all the causes and organizations you currently support, learn of upcoming events in your community, find meaningful volunteer opportunities and connect with other community-minded individuals.

Currently in beta release, Framework is getting closer to launching our Civic Footprint program which will give you the tools to do exactly that.  Unlike other social networking sites, Civic Footprint will focus on helping individuals plan, track and adjust their giving, volunteering and participating efforts.  Our aim is to empower people with the knowledge and tools required to better understand the potential social impact they are capable of, while encouraging a broader civic footprint.
